Dyson DC54 Vacuum

Dyson DC54 Vacuum Range

When it comes to cleaning floors, the new DC54 range of vacuums from Dyson has everything you need to get your home looking spotless.

With a variety of cleaning tools, features and accessories, the DC54 Multi floor, Animal Pro, Animal and Allergy vacuums from Dyson will help you banish dirt and grime from your floors easily.

All of the vacuums in the Dyson DC54 range are easy to clean and maintain. With no bags to buy and no filter maintenance to worry about, you can enjoy simple, fuss-free and convenient cleaning every time you start it up.

One of the best features of this range is that it’s designed to have no loss of suction, so no matter how long you use it or how vigorous the cleaning session is, your Dyson DC54 vacuum will perform at an optimal level every time.

The vacuums have also been designed so that it can turn quickly on the spot, which means you can get into all of those hard to reach corners turns on the spotof your home and manoeuvre your vacuum around more easily – no more tiring pushing, pulling and dragging.

The Ball technology included on the Dyson DC54 vacuums reinforce the concept of easy movement, allowing machines to steer fluidly on a ball instead of the conventional wheels.

All of the DC54 vacuums feature Dyson Cinetic cyclone technology, which uses high frequency oscillating tips on the end of each cyclone which prevents dust build up and clogging.

In addition, the vacuums in this range capture allergens in the air, releasing cleaner air afterwards for a fresher atmosphere inside your home.

If you have a variety of floor types to clean, the DC54 multi floor model is ideal as it is designed to work on a wide variety of surfaces, self-adjusting for the best cleaning performance to suit each type of floor.

For a complete cleaning experience around the house, the Animal Pro is your best bet. It comes with plenty of accessories such as a swivel head floor tool, soft dusting brush, flexi crevice device and stubborn dirt brush for every type of cleaning situation you could possibly have.

Dyson DC54 Animal Pro Vacuum

The original Animal vacuum is also a great option for an all-around clean, with a mini tangle-free turbine tool included.

On the other hand, if you’re looking for a vacuum that will cater to the sensitive needs of family members in your household then the DC54 Allergy model is perfect.

With an extra mattress tool included for removing dust mites and allergens inside the house, the Allergy model can help you keep your home more hygienic for those with allergies.

  4. Simon,

Hi there, just got new DC54 Animal Pro, my second Dyson, works beautifully, Everyone fighting to have a go here of the new vac, lol. Wife awoke this morning, i said ” whats happening today?” she said, “Im going to vac again!”. Nuts. One problem, emptying is messy and annoying, is there a knack to doing it cleverly with out getting mess on the floor or going to the bin outside each time, and having to dirty my hands inside the barrel to clean it? Seems all that ingenuity into the great machine it is, missed the easy empty option. Please help. Thanks Good Guys, got a great deal.

      The Good Guys,

Hi Simon, one way to empty the Dyson could be to take two bags, one inside the other and empty the dirt into the middle bag. You then tie that off, leaving you with the outer bag to carry out to the bin and no mess. Hope this tip helps! :)

        Hi,
thanks for the reply, yeah i saw that youtube clip as well but they did it with an empty barrel. No video clip have i seen where they did it with dirt and fluff in the barrel so as to show how to do it without making a mess. Used it a few times now and the easiest method is to walk all the way outside to the wheelie bin and stick my hands in the barrel (removed from machine obviously) poke around to scrap dog hair and other clumps out, then wash hands and put back together. Slow and awkward.
Oh and try doing some of your advice before giving it, don’t just watch a youtube clip of someone doing it without muck in side the vacuum.
Still a great Dyson, just poor emptying design.

  5. Jess,

Simon- put a plastic grocery bag around it then press the release button so it empties into the bag. Much less mess. I had the same problem.

Now my issue is keeping it clean. Seems I can never wipe the dust out of the turbines. How do I clean this properly?

    • Simon,

Hi Jess, we bought it for dog hair as the main reason for both getting a new vac and for that particular model. Try filling one (to the max line) WITH FUR and then get that fur out with out using your fingers or some implement. Impossible especially if you have already buried it in a bag. By the way the free grocery bags are illegal here now so have to re-use paid for ones for shopping. Why does emptying a bagless vacuum require a bag? I still love my Dyson, will buy another some day, if I need to, just want them to be smarter about emptying a bagless vacuum without a bag. My first Dyson DC29 i think was much easier, like tipping a bucket out. So much easier.
